Winter
Loving winter this year. Cardigans, long coats, scarves, beanies and rugging up indoors on a cold night with some hot chocolate + a film = bliss! Also, the World Cup has been very exciting this year (you might have noticed the voracious way I’ve been tweeting about it lately)! I think Germany have a huge chance of taking the cup home.
Winter in Japan, 2009 | I wish it snowed in Brisbane!
I’ve finally gotten a chance to upload some work for the new Wedding section of the site, so take a peek if you wish! Leita and Simon had a beautiful wedding on Stradbroke Island last March. They were very kind to let me shoot their wedding, considering it was my first one. More from other weddings to come soon.
My Flying Dutchman | aka Jordan and Robert
In other photography news, I will be shooting a couple of different things over the next two months. My Flying Dutchman is a local Brisbane band that I’ll be working with for their album artwork and promotional images. I’ll also be photographing a couple named Anna and Tom next month for their wedding. Can’t wait! I always welcome new work, so please email if you want some information or just to chat about photography/life!

PS If you haven’t had a chance to check out my work at the QCP, it ends next week on Sunday the 11th and is free! x
QCP June 2010 Exhibition
A couple of months ago I was invited by the Queensland Centre for Photography to be a part of their documentary exhibition for June 2010. The other photographers are Angela Blakely (one of my lecturers from last year) & David Lloyd, and also my classmates Kylie Jury, Ruth Keber and Megan Hermans.
I’m really grateful for the opportunity to present the Lolita Culture series again, especially alongside some great photographers and story tellers. Five of my images will be a part of a slideshow in the QCP plasma screen display at the entrance with Ruth and Megan’s work. Here is also a screenshot from the QCP website :)
Opening night is this Saturday 12th June 2010, from 5 – 8pm. It would be lovely to see you there!
